MOMS Club of Stamford participated in a pop-up charity in support of food-insecure families in Stamford called Helping Families 2020. This charity was spearheaded by amazing local mothers: Szilvia S., Tracie D., and Julie F. After a herculean summer effort to help feed over 100 families per week, aided by over 200 volunteers, Helping Families 2020 set their sights on sending 147 children to school with brand new backpacks filled with age appropriate fillers including: notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, crayons, folders, loose leaf paper, etc. MOMS Club of Stamford helped by organizing a wishlist and donating over $400 in supplies.
